Meet Joseph Hayes

I am a husband, father of three, and proud grandfather of six (and hopefully many more in the years ahead). Throughout my life and career, I have been passionate about helping people discover their potential, develop their talents, and connect with opportunities that lead to success.

My professional journey includes 39 years in public education, beginning as a kindergarten and second-grade teacher before spending nearly three decades in Career Technical Education (CTE). During that time, I designed and developed CTE programs, recruited and mentored students, provided college, career, military, and personal counseling, and built strong partnerships with business and industry leaders to create meaningful workforce opportunities.

For 34 years, I also served as the Founder and Director of The Nature Camp, where thousands of young people experienced leadership development, character building, teamwork, and personal growth through outdoor learning experiences.

Beyond education, I have devoted much of my life to ministry and community service. Alongside my wife, I co-founded Faith Victory Center Ministries and later founded Time TWOgether Ministries. I have also spent many years coaching youth and high school basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer, using sports as a platform to teach leadership, responsibility, perseverance, and character.

Whether as an educator, camp director, coach, ministry leader, husband, father, or grandfather, my goal has always been the same: to lead by example through genuine care for others and to help people become the very best version of themselves.

Career Connections Group is the culmination of these experiences, a company dedicated to training, equipping, and connecting individuals, schools, businesses, and communities to build stronger futures and create opportunities that change lives.
